Aqua Vision

The huge black and white Akita lay just out of reach of the roaring waters, ripping chunks of meat from a beef haunch that he'd had the great luck of being able to steal. He knew that this was probably a one-time thing, because the human man would recognize him on his next raid and he'd probably be ready with a sharpened butcher knife. Actually, Kamikaze had badly frightened the human, and as he'd left, he'd heard him screaming about a black dog..something or other. Apparently a crazy rogue out for blood was his understanding.

The Akita snorted and finished eating before licking his maw clean and looking out upon the rolling waves. It was sunset, and the glare of the light wasn't as bad as it had been earlier that day. The sky was tinted an orangish-pinkish-red, and gulls were congregating d**n near everywhere. They were still eyeing Kamikaze and his bone remnant with their beady black-glass eyes, but they'd kept their distance. He could have easily crushed a little body like that easily. He thought they knew it too.

Stretching his muscled form hard, the black male ran along the waves to chase a few birds into flight out of sheer boredom then decided to just lie in the sand. The temperatures were dropping and it was getting pretty cold out, what with the wind blowing off the water and all, but thanks to that thick Northern coat, Kaze didn't feel the sharp bite at all. He hadn't run into any other dogs, save for a little white and tan mongrel that had taken one look at him then ran like the coward he was. Kaze looked down at his one white paw, the speckles running partway up his leg, then tried to look down at the white patch covering his chest. The brightness was being replaced by a reddish color from the meat he'd just finished off...not that it mattered to him anyways. Giving a low, content sigh, the brute watched the jade-blue water silently and calmly, his tail lying in a relaxed position against his right side.
